Our Medical Philosophy

As a strong proponent of integrative medicine, Dr. David's treatment may include certain natural preparations as well as drugs to achieve results. Because stress can often prevent conception, Dr. David works closely with mind-body skilled experts in relaxation training, along with certified acupuncturists to calm and soothe the paitient and to achive greater blood flow throughout the patient's body.

When you enter Dr. David's waiting room, you know immediately that this is not the impersonal, dehumanizing sterility of other fertility clinics. Warm, feminine furnishings and colors abound and, as more than one patient has commented," as soon as I walked in there I felt I had come home." The nurturing, friendly and extremely helpful staff treats each patient as an individual who deserves the most personalized, caring treatment possible.

Dr. David completed his training as a reproductive endocrinologist at the University of Pennsylvania. He is affiliated with Mount Sinai Hospital in New York, where he does his fertility surgery. He received his degrees from both Columbia College and Columbia Medical School and completed his residency at New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center.

Dr. David is available to his patients from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM Monday thru Friday and on Saturday mornings. In emergencies he can be reached around the clock.

"My Goal for the past 25 years has been to diagnose disorders leading to infertility and miscarriages and offer treatments tailored to correcting those disorders. My goal is not just to create more eggs, but to ensure that the eggs mature, survive, and impregnate by addressing whatever issues need to be addressed. The use of traditional fertility drugs only creates more eggs. If the disorder is not addressed and corrected, the sheer number of eggs may not overcome the actual cause of infertility or pregnancy loss.

I have helped many patients become pregnant who have failed in vitro attempts. There is a huge population of women who have failed in vitro, and may still be able to conceive without in vitro or fertility drugs.

My approach to infertility has proven that a mere test of FSH as the measure of a woman's potential fertility is an injustice to thousands of women. I have had the good fortune to help women achieve and deliver healthy babies with their own oocytes, with FSH levels of 30 and higher. It is my policy to never turn away a patient who retains the capacity to ovulate.

By following traditional diagnostic medical approaches and appropriate medical treatments, I am proud to say that over the past 25 years, I have helped create over 3,000 pregnancies that have gone to term"
